Format: Paperback
A very good book, with excellent detail for Basic, more advanced and relay Precision, with stacks of example hands to demonstrate the bidding sequences involved. However, there are a few mistakes in the book, particularly in the Appendix discussion on Symmetric Relay precision, where the discussion is also very tricky to follow in places, and is not well ordered. In summary, an excellent, compact book with loads of solid system to improve your bridge.

Precision in the 90s is pretty much a Precision Bible, and was a key step in my learning of the system and bringing it into play at tournament level. The book's structure is occasionally tricky to follow, but there is heaps of good solid and tested system for partnerships to discuss and develop into their own style of play. I commend Rigal for his inclusion of the more complex side of the system (the relay structure). Lots of good stuff you can't find in more generic bridge publications. Well worth buying. You won't regret it- useful for serious precision players and those who are just curious.

I cannot recommend this book highly enough to anybody who is either interested in learning precision, or plays precision already and wishes to improve their system.
Unlike other books on precision, 'Precision in the 90s' doesn't just concentrate on 1 club auctions, but provides you with a compete system. Rigal has many useful suggestions for how to develop the auction after the limited opening bids.
