As a lifelong ABBA & Agnetha fan i was bound to enjoy this album, and i do (i do, i do, i do , i do). I would just like to say however that buyers should not expect an ABBA sounding album because it isn't that. It's 100% Europop easy listening. Think more The Carpenters when considering purchasing this album.
I admit on first hearing i found it a little bland, though quite pleasant. Though after a few listens it has grown on me, and have found that the tunes have become cemented in my head that they come to mind throughout the day when i am not even listening to them. Agnetha's voice remains sweet & still sparkles the way they used to years ago, though some of the umph from the ABBA years have given way to more warmth and tenderness. Her voice still touches parts of me that no other voice can find.
The overall production of the whole album is strong. Apart from the classic 70's feel disco pounder of 'Dance Your Pain Away', the album is mainly mid tempo & ballads. One criticism that applies to a few songs, would be the lyrics in places are a bit lacking & could have used an english lyricist to proof read as you can tell that the writers are not natural English speakers in places. If i am honest this album would have got 5 stars from me if it had not been for some of the lyrics!!!
The album is a grower, but overall is a collection of richly produced, tender, easy listening ballads sung by a singer who will always rank as a legend amongst female singers.

Agnetha is in the position of having one of the most recognisable voices on the planet, yet not so many people know her name. She is often referred to as `the blonde one from ABBA`. She is a very talented soloist, and has been for sometime. In my mind her voice can be compared to Nana Mouskouri or Judith Durham and Mary Hopkin. They all have that bell-like quality which enables the clarity of every word to come through.

This CD comprises 10 songs including a duet with Gary Barlow. They never actually met until several weeks/months after the recording was made, his part in England and her part in Sweden. All of the songs were written or co-written by one of her co-producers, Jorgen Elofsson. He also sang backing vocals. The other co-producer, Peter Nordahl arranged the music and conducted The Swedish Philharmonic Orchestra. Not bad eh!

A thoroughly entertaining and listenable album. No surprises, just class.

This is a wonderful album with so many really catchy songs. Agnetha's voice is still amazing & has her usual distinctive qualities but with added range. The arrangements are superb & there isn't one track on it that I am disappointed with (quite unusual when buying a CD) If you love Agnetha, you will love this album.

We watched her being interviewed by Gary Barlow, and we were most impressed once again with her after many years.
She has grown into an older beautiful woman, her voice is mature and rich and better than I think that she even realises.
Great album ! Warm and musical ! Most excellent !

Although the songs are quite melocholy they are not depressing. A very varied assortment of songs, sung with clarity and not too much meddling by the people in the studio twiddling knobs!
Clarity, sincerity, and a lovely Cd
