Having a couple of these with me at any time is a great convenience. Using them takes a tiny bit of getting used to, controlling the water flow but they work very well for line and wash.

Price wise you cannot go wrong if you are looking for this type of item. Having four sizes and different shapes is a bonus too. Great to use with water soluble crayons/pencils as well as water colours. My friend uses with food colouring, so they can be very adaptable tools to own. Brilliant idea for a gift for an artistic person. Something different!

Love these, especially good as you have a reservoir of water that you fill, so they are mobile too, if you like to paint outdoors. There's one size for virtually all you'd need, they are soft but firm. The only reason the didn't get a 5 is because you can only fill an inch of water, so have to keep filling them up, which is irritating, but a bottle of water does the job.

Love these waterpens but not sure I'm using the barrel to its full potential, My water keeps blobbing on my paper !
Easy to use, nibs good size and bristles synthetic go easily into shape. You can get fine lines with all three pointed nibs and lovely long lines with bold chisel.
I take the black bit out of the barrel to fill as its much easier but they say you can fill it with the black bit in. Its very slow that way.

When I try to fill the container with water it only sucks a small amount so I have to inject water using other tools. The tip stains right away but that doesn't do anything bad to your drawing. Other than that, very useful and I think I'm going to use it a lot.

Very pleased with these brushes, I have purchased cheaper ones in the past that were all transparent and the fact that these are coloured makes all the difference as you know which one to reach for. Worth it.

I just bought Derwent Inktense, and these made it a whole lot easier! I see I need some practice to refill and control the flow, but the water brushes are great. I haven't tested others, so I cannot compare.

These are by far the best quality water brush I've used. They were bought as part of a present from my husband on a Japanese trip. Excellent pen. Just the right amount of flow of water.
