Product description

Synopsis

"Hotspots Turkey - Aegean Coast" provides accessible coverage of the endless attractions of the Aegean Coast, a region described by Heredotus as having "the most beautiful sky and the best climate in the world". And that's not to mention the golden beaches, traditional old quarters and countless ancient treasures! These sun-baked Aegean soils provide foundations for the ancient cities of Ephesus and Troy, while 'cotton castle' Pamukkale continues to wow visitors. It provides information on the Resorts: Cesme, Kusadasi, Altinkum, Guvercinlik, Torba, Yalikavak, Turgutreis, Ortakent, Bitez, Gumbet, and Bodrum. Packed with practical and easily accessible information aimed at those heading for the popular 'sun' destinations worldwide. This handy guide enables travellers to quickly become familiar with their chosen resort whilst providing details for them to get out and about to see local attractions too.

Format: Paperback
This is perfectly OK as a basic guide, which may well be enough for most people. It does not contain any great detail, but is a quick reference written in straightforward language to read up on the area before you go. At least with this series you get the area you are visiting in a handy, pocket sized book.
If you want more, particularly maps of the archaeological sites, you need to get something else as well. Buy this one and get the other from the library.
