I was gripped from the start of this fast paced, witty and ultimately romantic roller coaster of a ride. Every woman would like to have at least one trait from Fiona's characters from the sassy Mia to the adorable Laney.
The story begins with four people who meet on their first day at college in 1991 and explores their lives, loves, hopes and dreams as they continue through to the present day and learn to make the correct choices. Will they make the right choices? Can life be exactly as you think it should be?
As with all of Fiona's novels, the reader gets totally wrapped up in such amazing characters cheering them all the way through each delectable trial and tribulation.
I would thoroughly recommend this book for a holiday read but don't forget to pack it in your suitcase on the way home as with all Fiona's novels, you must always ask for seconds!
The characters are well drawn and although living lives that most of us can only dream of living - TV presenters, writers, actors, balloonmen and dressage divas (plus the odd Spanish grandmother!!) all merge together in a delicious frothy read. It was also a nice touch to "meet" a smattering of characters from Oddlodes again!
All in all a super read and highly recommended. Just one thing FW please please could we have another Oddlodes book - I am sure I am not alone in asking for this.
This was an amzing book, heartfelt and well written. It is not your average romantic fiction where it is obvious everything will be alright this shows emotion and feeling! A must read x
I devoured the book in no time, might just have to read one of her old ones so I don't get withdrawal symptoms!! 😄

Yep, I loved it. Slow to start like most of Fiona Walker's books. And it's at that point that I wonder why I buy them, but then after a while, I'm hooked. Good holiday read. Read morePublished 7 months ago by Holly X
