'I love the pared-down premise of this book. John has created clever ingredient combinations that demonstrate the power of simplicity in cooking. The photography is lickable, too...' --Karen Barnes, Editor, Delicious Magazine
'This book, with its focus on recipes that rely on a mere 5 ingredients (over and above his essential store cupboard) is as rich in flavour and flair as his previous two titles; the pared-back approach certainly doesn't imply any constraints on his creativity.' --Nigella Lawson
'Simpler recipes don't have to mean less flavour. John Whaite cooks up winning recipes using just five ingredients.' The Telegraph
'this book is clever, fun and a winner' Waitrose Weekend
'really is what it says on the tin [...] simple plates of food cooked in no time, with very little fuss. This is simple cooking at its best.' Aldo Zilli, Daily Express
'A must have book if you're looking for easy meals with minimal ingredients.' --BBC Easy Cook
