Review

..".a visual tour de force of the best of modern architecture in a format that pays proper homage to their designers." "Trend Hunter Magazine" "Because it cannot be touched, it is close to impossible to experience architecture on paper. "The Modern Architecture Pop-Up Book," attempts to bridge the gap through pop-ups that replicate the most innovative contemporary architectural masterpieces from around the world." "Bal Harbour Magazine" ..".a marvel of construction...that will both amaze and edify." "W Magazine" "There are architecture books, and then there is "The Modern Architecture Pop-Up Book." If you'd like to add a third dimension to your own architectural experience (and who wouldn't!), give this one a shot." Gearcrave.com "Architectural history unfolds--literally--in "Modern Architecture Pop-Up..".the book offers a speedy grand tour of notable buildings." "The New York Times"..".how all our parents were so wrong, we aren't too old for pop-up books we just needed age appropriate pop-up books and thanks to Anton Radevsky and David Sokol for making "The Modern Architecture Pop-Up book," we have that book now." The Tastemakers Society "Accompanied by illustrations, photographs and elaborate pop-ups, the talent and imagination of architects and builders of the modern era is brought to life. Ranging from the nineteenth century to the present day, the pages follow the development of modern architecture." AolLiving.com "Even the best architectural photography often fails to gve a sense of the volumes and massing of a building. Devotees of modernist architecture now have a nifty book to help them understand buildings they will likely see only in photographs." Modernism Magazine ..".this book takes readers' through modern architecture's beginnings in the Romantic Era to projections into the discipline's future." Creativity Magazine "If the thought of a pop-up book fills you with childish visions of 3D

This is a beautiful book and very informative about the pop-up buildings which appear as each page is opened.
It looks wonderful open on a coffee table to display some of these modern architectural marvels.

Bought this as a present for my 10 year old grandson who is keen on architecture and he loves looking at it as have his whole class at school. I was so impressed that bought a copy for myself. The 3 dimensional replications of buildings range from nineteenth century until now and are both beautiful, informative and amazing and one can keep returning to the models and descriptions and always discover something new. Would recommend for anyone of any age interested in modern architecture and would be great for introducing school children to the subject. The price is amazingly cheap for a book of such quality.

Bought this book as first wedding anniversary (paper) present for a couple who enjoy books and architecture.. They love it! However, it is slightly difficult to get some sculptures to stand up properly but I think this will, I suspect, get better with use. Not for a heavy handed child unless bought second hand!
