In this awesome book, Tapio Kotkavuori goes all along the Left Hand Path in a very practical and useful way. After finishing it, one has a totally clear picture of what is the Left Hand Path about it, and can start with it in the very moment of opening the book itself. It is also a magical tool for initiation and therefore, I totally recommend his work.

2.0 out of 5 stars Incredibly dry 6 Sept. 2011
By Katie - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
This book is for someone who knows NOTHING about the Left Hand Path. It is a very basic introduction to the concepts behind the left hand path. It has examples of what a ritual MIGHT be like, but no concrete information that could be used for practical application. And, I realize this is non-fiction, but the material is delivered in a very dry manner. In fact, I found it very difficult to pay attention to simply because it was so boring. The reason it did not get 1 star is because it is not COMPLETELY worthless. It could be educational for someone who wants to learn the basics, and nothing else.

4.0 out of 5 stars pearls of light; or should i say darkness 16 Aug. 2011

The Left Hand Path is, in my opinion, a divine culture, religion, lifestyle and philosophy. the book by Tapio Kotkavouri is really good occult material and very informative about the Left Hand Path's ideology.

Tapio Kotkavouri discusses about the subjective and objective universe, the prince of darkness as a principle of isolate your mind of the universe. also discussed in this book- the very basic rituals. the verity, the meanings of every ritual and its affect on the universe.

I found this book very enchanting. it really helped to understand better the Left Hand Path. I really like this book, but, i can find this book very repetitive. Tapio Kotkavouri repeats a lot about the key words "individual", "prince of darkness", "subjective and objective universe" and "consciousness". in spite of the repetition I find this book an absolute joy of reading and joy of getting new information about the basics of the Left Hand Path.
5.0 out of 5 stars An underrated Gem! 1 Jun. 2017
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This deceptively small book contains more hard facts and genuine information about the Left Hand Path than 95% of all the spooky and "Demonic Grimoires" you`ll find here on Amazon put together. As an introduction to what Dr Stephen Flowers calls "an unparalleled adventure in Life", it is hard to find a more concise and clear starting point. Kotkavouri draws on his academic background and illustrates his points with examples from philosophy and religious history without being either dogmatic or spoon feeding you. Indeed, he rather gives you just enough information for you to mull the questions around in your own head and start your own investigations. Much of what is great about this book is "between the lines" as they say. There is also enough practice here to keep you busy for the first couple of years.

The book vill be especially helpful to prospect Setians who are looking for a legitimate way of finding out if The Temple of Set is right for them.
Beside Don Webbs "Uncle Setnakts essential guide to the Left Hand Path", I can think of no other work better suited for that specific task.
