Theo like many others has been to hell and back and I agree with others that this is a great book for the wives and partners of servicemen and women to allow them to understand why we are the way we are.
The reality of what faces the special forces warrior when the reach age 40 is a terrifying prospect. There are few options, they are simply cast aside and become just another civvy.
A message to the youth out there; don't be put off by the poetry, it speaks volumes and the words are true. I have thoroughly enjoyed every bit of this book and will be watching out for the next. This is not the story of a victim, its the story of a soldier!
I highly recommend this book to anyone thinking of joining or ex services as well as family and friends
Poetry is second to none
enjoyed the whole book and can relate back to my infantry days having served 12 years F.A.B
