Review

?This is a great practical guide that will facilitate insight into social conventions and regulations. As a result of completing the activities, a person with ASD will be better able to avoid causing offense or getting into trouble with the law..." -- Tony Attwood, Ph.D., clinical psychologist "The Asperger's Syndrome Clinic, Australia"

I work with students on the Autistic Spectrum and have found that puberty is throwing up a whole heap of new challenges. This book gives really good, common sense advice and techniques to help the struggling adolescent try to understand how and why some things change and to give them easy-to-understand techniques to try and cope with it all. I simply have to say to my boy "That's nearly a 4" and he will try and walk away from escalating situations. The book is also not in school jargon so I have shared it with parents as well as our clinical psychologist! If your teenager is struggling with inappropriate behaviours then this could give you vital keys to help them back on track. Buy this book!

this book is an easy read for both my boys..12 and 15....not too young or too old. It has guidelines on behaviour, what is and isnt appropriate and how to choose the right path. My sons have different conditions, one Aspergers, the other, ADHD..This book has stratergies to aid them both
