Does what it's supposed to - silently powers my homebuilt PC (Core i5, not overclocked, and Radeon R9 series GPU).

Purchase: Note that this power supply is only suitable for a full size case with case fans - it needs airflow above and relies on the rear case fan to remove any heat it generates. Also make sure to use a power requirements checker before buying - this generates 460W maximum, which is enough for most single GPU setups, but if you have several (e.g. a Crossfire setup) it might start to reach its limit.

On arrival: the first impression was that it was beautifully packaged and came with lots of accessories (connectors, cable ties, etc.).

Installation: Manual didn't have a description of which sockets took which connectors - though it's fairly obvious anyway, it would have been helpful.

Operation: it has been running for a week now without any sign of overheating under load. The stock CPU fan, which previously I didn't notice over the noisy PSU I had, is now the noisiest component in my PC build and will need replacing too!

    PROS:
    - Silent, you have to stick your ear right against it to hear anything at all
    - Efficient, my power consumption dropped ~5w once this was installed, small amount i know but my server when idle only used 35w anyway
    - Quality sleeved cables
    - All cables modular

    CONS:
    - Price, its expensive, if you can grab an open box one or one that's used go for it
    - Although this is fanless the seasonic X and corsair AX (same PSU's different brands) are fanless until they are put under moderate to heavy load, these may be a cheaper option

Overall im very satisfied with this PSU, this combined with an SSD and allowing my hard drives to spin down after 5 minutes of inactivity has given me a completely inaudible home server, which is great because it sits 2 metres from my bed :O

A superb piece of engineering. Totally silent, beautifully built and packaged. Worked fine, no problems. Modular cabling means you only need to use the connections you need, which is neat. A great basis to a silent PC. Shipped quickly from Germany in fantastic packaging.

Early days but so far no issues and plenty of cables included. I built a fanless PC for audio recording: Antec VSP-5000 Case, Asus Z97-Pro Gamer MB, Intel i5 4690s, Nofan CR-80EH CPU Heatsink, 2 x 8Gb HyperX Fury DDR3 1600 RAM, Samsung 850 Pro 128/512 Gb SSDs and Samsung SH-224FB DVD/R Drive. System flies and not a sound.

Not much I can say about this - it is a fantastic power supply and it is silent. Just be warned - it must be installed with the vents facing UPWARD or your case must be very well ventilated (so much so it would probably negate the lack of a fan in the PSU).
