Arteck iPad Air Bluetooth Keyboard Cover:
This keyboard is specially made for the iPad Air 2 or 9.7-inch iPad Pro and perfectly complements its thin, lightweight design style.
A Mini laptop:
This Bluetooth keyboard also doubles as a screen protector and viewing stand. Simply push the iPad into the unique iPad hinge-slot and let the powerful magnets grip the iPad Air securely to instantly give your iPad Air a keyboard and a protective cover that also acts as a multi-angle stand for easy viewing and typing. Looks just like a laptop!
Using a standard Mac format keyboard layout, the larger keys give you a familiar and comfortable typing experience and saves screen space - view content while you type without the on-screen keyboard getting in the way.
Built-in hinges allow the iPad Air 2 or 9.7-inch iPad Pro be tilted up to 130 degree to provide the most comfortable viewing position for typing or viewing photos and movies.
Auto wake and sleep
Besides activating the iPad's Auto sleep-wake function to instantly wake your iPad Air 2 or 9.7-inch iPad Pro when you open the cover and send it to sleep mode when you close it. The keyboard will enter its own sleep mode after a few minutes of inactivity - simply press any key to wake the keyboard up again.
The super-slim, light weight design perfectly complements the elegantly sophisticated design style of the iPad. The thin and lightweight materials won't detract from the iPad's stunning looks but still offers durable protection for your iPad.

It is, of course, a bit plasticky and “cheap feeling” but I’ve seen worse and it’s solid for £20 (I mean let’s be fair, most iPad keyboards are £60+ and £20 normally only buys you a case!)
Typing is comfortable enough, I’m doing this review on it. Cast your mind back to netbooks and consider the 10” ones (not those old 7” ones which were too tiny) and you’ll have an idea - i.e. it’s a bit on the cramped side but nothing you can’t get used to. If you’re bothered about travel (I’m not, I actually enjoy the new MacBook keyboards) I can say there’s good old fashioned laptop style travel on these. Noise level - a little clacky, but no more than those new MacBook keyboards and nowhere near that of a mechanical gaming keyboard!
One thing that keeps catching me out at the moment: it uses a US style small enter key. I’m used to the UK norm of having a backwards L shape and keep clipping the backslash key. It’s something you’d get used to with use.
I’d rather have an extra row of keys for the iPad-specific hotkeys, rather than having to hold Fn.
The key lettering is shiny and reflective, and part of this shininess is a black border around the letter - sitting at my current angle I have to tilt the keyboard back to see what the hotkeys are, though as I know my way around a keyboard I have no problem with the letter keys.
Responsiveness seems fine. Hinge is about right, not too loose, not too stiff. We’ll see how the hinge holds out over time as obviously that’s the part most likely to fail first.
All in all I’m happy with it, especially for the sale price of £20, I can’t really fault it for that.
Bluetooth connection works fine, key stroke is okay too. In silver married to the the silver IPad it all looks like a notepad when open or closed - very neat! Rechargeable battery lasts fine even when left in standby mode. When the keypad is closed onto the tablet it does put the tablet into standby mode for you.
For under £20, this is definitely worth the money!
It's very easty to fit on to the iPad, and to to set up. The small keyboard does take time to get used to but it has a nice, positive touch and the individual keys are a good size. Other than the high number of shortcuts the only thing I find a nuisance is the limited range of angle for the screen. It would be lovely if it went a little further back but for the price and ease of use I can live with this.
Since receiving my keyboard I have found it to be an ideal choice which has a positive feel to the keys and a good range of fn functions to the top row. I accept that, in time, the plastic clips may prove fragile and that the markings on the keys may wear off. However, I do not need it for business use and will not be continually removing and refitting the iPad. It would have been a bonus to have been able to rotate the iPad to portrait mode but for this price I have no complaints at all. A nice piece of kit that fulfils the purpose for which I bought it.
