1.0 out of 5 stars ULTIMATE rip-off--super small piece of chocolate 5 Mar. 2014
By Denise Tso - Published on Amazon.com

It's a bite-size piece of chocolate with an incredibly huge price of almost $7.00. You have to be a huge fan of Harry Potter to want this. Jelly Belly should be ashamed to let merchandisers sell at this price. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

1.0 out of 5 stars Cheap, tiny, skip it 5 Dec. 2013

This is tiny. As the other reviewer said, I wouldn't pay $1.50 for it at a store. It is the size of a regular candy mold, not real frog size like the movie.

1.0 out of 5 stars not wanting to give it to my niece if it was less that perfect. What I found inside was a melted 25 July 2016

total rip off... I bought this to accompany a harry potter themed gift i am putting together for my niece, however this WILL NOT be a part of it after all. It was delivered today and immediately brought in, and removed from the shipping carton, while handling the "frog" in it's foil wrapping, I could tell that whatever was inside did not feel frog- shaped at all. After a moments deliberation, I decided to open it up, not wanting to give it to my niece if it was less that perfect. What I found inside was a melted, discolored, rectangle of what appears to be chocolate. It had began turning white so I can only imagine that this has been in the seller's inventory for some time. I have posted a photo for reference. I have filed a claim and am hoping to have my money returned. I am so glad I opened it up and did not gift this item as that would have been embarrassing for me and a let down for my niece. I only wish I read the other reviews before purchasing, seems I'm not the only one who paid $7.99 for garbage.

1.0 out of 5 stars Are you kidding me? 18 Dec. 2012

$9 for a 50 cent piece of chocolate???? I, for some reason, thought this was going to be one of the "real" chocolate frogs we bought at Universal -- you know, the amazing ones sold in the beautiful pyramid boxes? The SOLID delicious chocolates?? Instead, I got a TINY package (I haven't even opened it yet but I can feel the "frog" is about the size of a half dollar). I really wanted to surprise my daughter with another frog that we so enjoyed on our trip to Florida. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!! I feel ripped off ....

1.0 out of 5 stars Eeew yuck! Seriously tiny and REVOLTING as well! 7 Nov. 2016

I'm a total Harry Potter fan who loves chocolate. Normally, candy is candy but just once I HAD to give this a try. Official park treat, or not, I was not only unpleasantly surprised, but also truly disgusted and disappointed on sight. The candy was small and indeed frog-shaped, but looked and tasted more like cheap chocolate wax than actual chocolate candy with crisp rice. Even the included Wizard card looked nothing like those seen in the films, or even like those shown by other fans on Youtube. This is one purchase I won't repeat for either myself, or my younger family members. A little creativity at home would produce better results Parents, please avoid these. The candy frogs look like frogs for sure, but might make children physically ill upon consumption. If all a young fan wants is the Witch/Wizard card, those too may disappoint. Bottom line, if your child begs for one of these, surprise them with fresher homemade ones instead. At least then, you'll know exactly what everyone is eating.
