I use this at home for baking. I have found that it is by far the best product that I have used.

This sugar is not designed to have in tea and coffee because it has very fine granules and the one you need for that would be granulated sugar which has bigger granules.

Verdict: My favourite caster sugar

I use a lot of sugar in my home baking and find that Tate and Lyle Caster is by far the best sugar to use in baking, it is also far cheaper to buy this in bulk as sugar does not go off. I find other brands of sugar can go blocky or lumpy and needs to be put into water to get rid of the lumps, the only other sugar that comes close to Tate and Lyle was what my old bake house used to use which was French called Sugre (not sure of the spelling) which was a superb sugar and was very fine granulated sugar almost caster sugar grade.

I always use Tand L in my baking for best results. In creamed sponges it whips up well and disolves easily. Again it is the only one that I buy and results are always tip top.
