This mask is so comfortable the push to check filter system is a genius idea that ensures a complete seal is made, making sure that what you are inhaling is going straight through the filters and not into your lungs. I can't comment on how long these filters last but they are well made and quite big. The mask doesn't steam up my glasses when I'm working either, I'm never going to use the cheap white disposable masks ever again. This mask sets a new standard in respiratory safety and you really can't put a price on that, even though this mask and filter set is a bargain at seventeen quid. I think I'm going to invest in the other filter grade set that filters solvents and chemicals as I do a bit of paint spraying from time to time.
The supplied item was the MEDIUM size. I've got a large cranium, but it fits me fine.
Far better than the disposable face masks that I've used in the past.
It is comfortable and flexible and despite looking bulky, I don't find the filters get in the way of my eyesight at all. I find it very natural to breathe in, no resistance and I can wear it for a couple of hours without itching etc.
The only negative thing I could say is that condensation collects on the inside of this mask. Fortunately it doesn't seem to get on my skin and it doesn't bother me, but once in a while a big slug of sweaty water drips out of the exit valve and goes down my top. Mildly disgusting, but better than breathing in sawdust.
