now for the bad.
Landing gear are basically 2 pieces and under the rubber feet is where the joint is. they are just screwed together and the first hard landing on a hard surface will.....i repeat WILL...break them.
GPS/Compass tower and dome. this plastic that makes the dome is fragile and will break, mine from transport.
Over all body durability...Horrible. from a hard landing i had not only damaged landing gear but stress cracks in the body as well. After clipping a tree with the right front prop i was sent into a tumble from 20 feet up, its first and only hard crash after 8 months of ownership and the body was destroyed. Replacement bodies are $65-$75. So instead of spending that much, I trashed all of the CX20 except its squash mount, Flight controller which is an APM 2.5.2, the receiver and transmitter, and the motors. With new ESC's and a $15 f450 frame I know have one bad ass quadcopter.
In summary...if you're new to the hobby..this is a good quad to upgrade too, not a good quad to learn on, for that try a Syma X5C or JJRC X8. over all durability is very lacking, assembly is okay. Motor performance and apm performance are above average. Be prepared to spend a good amount of time messing with calibrations and parameters. If this intimidates you, dont' worry, you'll find tons of groups and communties on line from forums to facebook groups that will be there to give great tech advice. if you're looking for a quad to break into the medium of aerial photograhy and video and you have some flight experience under your belt already then this is a good choice and an awesome price point, and when you wreck it...which will eventually happen to everyone one a long enough timeline...don't think it wont....you can either replace the body or build into a very agile and decent lifting 450 or even 500 size quad.
