The arcade fightstick alpha is an excellent entry level stick. Compact but sturdy. The stick and buttons may not be Sanwa but believe me when I say that Madcatz' own stick/buttons on this are of extremely good quality. The 6 button layout represents a Japanese arcade layout and let me tell you, I have been terrorising peeps online on SFV using my boy Birdie and the stick is very responsive and comfortable. You could do a lot worse than this to be honest.

One of the best stick around and if you can get it for under 90 pounds it's a no-brainer. Real Sanwa parts and the main difference between this a higher end stick is that they tend to be easier to mod due to the easy opening mechanism to get the buttons.

Great looking however the buttons stop working a lot of the time. Not good considering we paid £199.99 for it. If we'd have known how temperamental it would be, we'd have purchased a Hori Real Arcade Pro instead.
