Absolutely perfect. My iphone is now completely unique amongst my friends boring white and black ones!
It was 2 years old and had a temperamental home button so I thought I'd see if replacing it would help and as doing that involved taking the screen off i thought id see if I could change the colour at the same time. The screen is perfectly clear, no dead pixels or anything, if I had chosen a factory colour I wouldn't be able to tell it wasn't all part of the original phone.
I used a video off youtube (ensure you watch it all first to see if you think you can do it and to check that the guide actually tells you how to put it back together again, lots leave it with the phone in pieces!)
Beware, to get to the screen you have to take out 99% of the components of the phone, if don't have good eyesight beware as the screws are all tiny (look at the ones in the bottom of the phone - they are smaller than that!)
I drew out a basic outline of the phone on a piece of paper and layed the screws and components out on it where they came from so I could put them back in the right place.
When feeding the screen cables through the body of the phone make sure they all come through and both are the same length, if not gently wiggle them both fully through, never tug as they are delecate cables. And don't touch the back of the LCD screen as you are likely to kill pixels doing this.
Variances to description:
The back cover did have the apple logo on (perfect for me)
it doesn't mention but the button is included (though just the button top not the ribbon cable, this has to be purchased separately for about £1.50)
