We have 1 port spare, no doubt when our children get a little older we may think about a games console but we are trying to avoid that as long as possible!
Why did I go for a BT switch? For simplicity and ease, I try to stick to the same make - within financial reason. Our hub is BT, our vision box is BT and our wireless booster is BT. I also believe that you have more success of them "talking" to each other than mixing up brands.
Written by an early 40's, mother of three, in an old property with very thick walls and the tech in the house has been left to me to sort out!
Nothing really special to report to be honest. Delivery was fast, the item arrived in perfect condition as did the box it was in and it has been working flawlessly since I plugged it in.
The unit is currently working a treat supplying unfettered wired connection to multiple devices (the wireless range in my house is next to useless, holding up a piece of paper blocks out most of the signal to my various devices!)
Would recommend for houses that need multiple wired connections with poor wireless signal (ultimately any house built before these ones with cardboard walls!)
