This DVD is not for beginners who want to do Pilates. You would have to already have some form of fittness to do some of these moves. I found it unhelpful and painful. Yes i know i'm unfit and my body does not bend like the person in the DVD, at 58yrs i just found the moves hard.
I`m so glad I bought a ten minute DVD and not one that`s longer. I had forgotten how hard Pilates can be when you`re not as fit as you used to be! Saying that the exercises are well explained with clear visual and verbal instructions.Its filmed nicely and you have the option of doing just one ten minute session or all of them.
Got this as I had to stop going to my beginner Pilates class. It's American and they must start at a higher level than here because this was not doable for me. If you are a beginner I wouldn't recommend however if you have a certain level of knowledge or fitness am sure it would be great.
bought this dvd as an alternative to other forms of keep fit, it is both relaxing and at times hard work, but enables you have a good work out and stretch the muscles at your own pace building up the pace as you wish. It is a good purchase especially at the low price offered.
