The first CD starts off with the hood classic ' Nuthin' but a "g" thing.' Well I have to say my living room was nuthin but a D thing as my friends and I started to flex our breakdance stylee all over the place!!! Flemaster B (my mate Barry)even pulled out a 1080 headspin, though he had to spend the next three days in hospital!!!!
CD1 carries on with the usual suspects such as 2PAC and Ice Cube ruffing up the microphone with some whicked cussing, which I have used to great effect when confronted by Shane Curtis' posse that hangs out outside the local McDonalds....
CD2 gives way to the East Coast flavour...again full of choice tunes that sound great on full blast (make sure that it is not too loud though or like me you might get grounded for two weeks by your mum). Such acts like Jungle Brothers, Sugarhill Gang and Public Enemy keep the bass pumping.
CD 3 showcases the British Hip Hop talents, letting the bruvvas know in the US hood that we have our own style...King Bee's classic 'Back by Dope Demand,' provides evidence of this. Listening to this has even helped me to pen my first rap - 'Show me the money and you can fiddle with my Honey.' Hopefully you will see this on one of these albums one day.
Sonia Potter from 3b even said I could go out with her if I lent her the album...am still waiting to get it back and to going out with her, but thanks Decadance for giving me good music and my first girlfriend.
