They survived for 2 years 10 months being used day in day out for hours a day, and being stored in pockets of jeans throughout the day. They survived being through the washing machine 3 times throughout their lives due to my carelessness.
These are the most durable earphones I've ever owned. I didn't look after them and they still survived me 2 years 10 months.
I'd highly recommend these headphones if they hadn't been put up to £20 since, I feel that headphones I bought for £10 just 2 years 10 months ago shouldn't have doubled. That being said if you are tired of headphones breaking these might be worth spending extra on.
I do alot of vacuum cleaning in my job and the fact that it says these isolate the background noise sold it to me.
My ipod earphones really hurt my ears after only a half hour or so, and these looked comfy.
Overall: Comfy, blocks out external sound, beautiful bass sound and quality sound overall.
HOWEVER!.....( did read the review about the feedback in the ears from eating before I bought these )
You can't eat, speak, cough, sing along or do anything at all that will create sound in your mouth/head area..they make immense feedback!
So, if you like to sing along to your music while you work, (if you work alone like me!) then don't buy these because you literally can't!
I will continue using these because I like the sound they produce, they are comfortable, and they block out machinery sounds etc, but I don't think I would buy them again because I do like to sing along to my music (however badly) and I have asthma which can give you a bit of a permanent little cough which is quite noisy through the headphones...
I'd call them musical earplugs really! :)
Unfortunately that's only half the issue for me. The reason I buy in ear headphones is to block out sound. In the office, they are great, and pretty good on the train too. But they fail the acid test of the plane journey. They can't seem to block the really loud low rumble of the plane at all, which means you have to crank the volume right up and end up getting a headache.
For plane journeys the JVC FX-34 "Marshmallows" I had (before they broke) were much better - stick them in your ears and the seal is perfect.
I'm leaving this review after purchasing a pair for the wife. My current ones were bought back in 2014 and still function perfectly. :)
It must be very difficult for Amazon to police all the 3rd party sellers on their site but I cannot believe I am the first to have been stung this way or to have raised a concern.
The company I bought these from were extremely responsive giving me an instant refund and suggesting 'as they had no returns policy agreement with Creative Labs UK distributer there was no need for me to return the items'. Perhaps too helpful or am I just too suspicious?
Back to the drawing board, but will be buying the next set only from Amazon stock.

I feel compelled to write a review on these. Yes these don't seem to last more than a couple of years before getting damaged, but for the price you can afford to buy them again. Read morePublished 14 days ago by Joy

Very impressed considering I paid £54 for a pair of Sennheiser IE4's and these sound almost identical, just a tad less bass. Well worth the price.Published 2 months ago by Amazon Customer
I was a fan of these headphones and must have gone through 3 or 4 pairs over the years. However the most recent pair I bought was 50% more expensive, visibly poorer quality and... Read morePublished 2 months ago by Honky Tonk Woman
