So far I'm really impressed with these headphones - I'm not a huge audiophile but love the sound, the bass is deep and I don't feel I'm losing out on the higher notes either. They are not entirely noise cancelling but they do block out a lot of the office sounds around me (I sometimes wear them when I need to concentrate on a task and not be disturbed). I am getting to grips with the controls on the ear cup, occasionally I manage to switch them off rather than skip a track or adjust the volume, I expect this to change as I become more familiar with the headphones.
Size wise, I didn't think I had a particularly small head but even on the smallest setting they are not very tight, they're not loose enough to fall off.
Pairing them is easy - I've linked them to several devices. I've noticed that on a couple of devices you get an icon in the top menu bar that shows the headphones are connected and the battery level. All in all, I'd recommend these.
In today's day and age, who needs wires anyway? Wires are annoying. If Tesla had had his way, wires would've been extinct by 1920. Bluetooth has come a long way. Gone are the days when Bluetooth headphones sounded like a dog barking in a tin can next to a busy road. They can now rival "wired" headphones.
On the subject of dogs, they can hear a greater frequency range than humans. Do they make headphones for dogs? No. Do dogs walk around calling themselves "audiophiles"? No. because they're humble. And sensible. But if a dog could choose a pair of headphones, I'm pretty sure they'd get along with the AKG Y50BT's very well. And no wires too... Dogs hate wires.
Comfortable to wear for extended periods.
Bluetooth connectivity is flawless, no dropouts while listening to music for over 2 hours.
Also connected easily to my Firestick for watching movies.
These headphones are very comfortable and light.
The build quality looks good for now.
The audio quality is very good for the average user; not so much for the audiophile.
The mic isn't that rich frequency wise; lacks in the low and low/mid range. But it's very clear and loud.
I would compare them to Shure SRH145m+, which I got about a year ago for the same price.
The Shure ones have better audio and a bit better mic quality.
But be aware that the controls and mic on the Shure ones don't work on android phones (iphones and any laptop are ok).

Great headphones right up until the power button stopped working, after which they became a pair of nice looking paperweights. Read morePublished 1 day ago by Andrew W

Zero stars right now due to them being defective. Right audio channel did not work at all, tested with multiple sources/devices. Waiting on a replacement pair.Published 6 days ago by Kirsty Dias
Good sound quality, but missing a bit of padding on the top section: it starts being uncomfortable after an hour of so.Published 11 days ago by Thiery
