Mechanical 12 button thumb grid
The Razer Naga Chroma’s original 12 button thumb grid is outfitted with mechanical switches to give you tactile and audible feedback, so you can be assured of every actuation.
The thumb grid’s buttons have a concave shape to allow each button to stand out individually. This allows for blind-find so you stay focused on the game, letting your instincts and reflexes lead you to victory.
Tilt-click scroll wheel
The scroll wheel on the Razer Naga Chroma goes left and right, as well as up, down and in for more buttons at your disposal, whether for destroying games or navigating a lengthy forum for the MMO strats.
In-game MMO configurator*
Introducing the intuitive mouse configurator you’ll ever need for MMO gaming. Customise each and every button on the Razer Naga Chroma to your personal skillset, macros and hotkeys right from within the game via a non-intrusive overlay. The thumb grid can be visually displayed with icons right from your favourite MMO so you’ll know exactly what button to hit at all times.
*PC only feature.
Chroma lighting with 16.8 million customisable colour options
With Razer Chroma customisable lighting for both the scroll wheel and thumb grid, you can choose from a spectrum of colours to personalise your Razer Naga Chroma. As each region is controlled independently via Razer Synapse, you can make this mouse distinctly yours.
Inter-device colour synchronisation
Whether it’s your favourite shade of green or your guild colours, Razer Chroma gives you the freedom to decide. It could be one, three or even thirty-seven colours with a spectrum of visual effects featuring 16.8 million colours, the possibilities are whatever you can imagine. With inter-device colour synchronisation, your Razer Chroma enabled Razer gaming weapons will always go together.
Razer Chroma SDK
All Razer Chroma enabled devices come with an open SDK that will allow game developers to take advantage of the multitude of lighting options available for Razer Chroma by integrating these lighting effects to create in-game lighting alerts or actions per minute lighting features.

As with the Naga Epic, they also moved the 2 forward thumb buttons under the mouse wheel. There's a useful switch under the mouse that lets you toggle the set of 6 thumb buttons between '1-6' or 'numpad'. This gives users even more options when setting up for their games.
The mouse texture is slippy, which probably isn't everyone's cup of tea. I find both pros and cons for the rubberised/matte and slippy textures. The matte ones end up with slippy spots after being rubbed on for too long and tend to feel gummy after a while. The slippy texture on the other hand ends up with dirt smears but that is easily fixed with a wipe down or just regular housekeeping.
Some thoughts on the Synapse software: It has profile switching, which means you can have different key bindings for different scenarios. The problem right now is that the software isn't completely intelligent. For example, if I launch Game X and alt-tab out, it still notices that Game X is running, but not necessarily the active window and still uses said game's mouse bindings. This can get very annoying very quickly depending on how you've set your bindings up. I'd be surprised if this isn't fixed already or getting fixed very soon.
My only complaint for the mouse is the pricing. We struggle enough with the VAT mark up on most our tech items, but 30% more than the RRP is a little excessive.Read more ›
Having used this mouse for sixteen months I felt it was time to write a review.
1. Great programmable grid layout on the side will suit most needs.
2. Good movement translation from desk to screen.
3. Good braided cable.
4. Aesthetically pleasing.
1. Scroll wheel broke after only a few months.
2. The rubberised grip on the righthand side becomes slimy after prolong use (this is due to the bonding agent becoming warm and starting to move).
Over all the mouse does perform well. I have spent many hours playing World of Warcraft and the left hand side grid really does it's job well. The accurate and fast translation of movement from the desk to the screen is top notch. The braided cable makes you feel safe in the knowledge that you are not going to suffer any accidental damage to the USB cable. You can overlook the slimy right hand side once you get used to it.
The big issue for me is the scroll wheel failure. I find it most unacceptable as I have £5 mice that have working scroll wheels after two plus years. I believe the failure occurred due to the left and right click action on the wheel. The failure seemed to have happen after about two weeks of using the right click on the wheel to active and deactivate the numlock. I only started using this feature in the third month of owning the mouse so the wheel failed at around four months old. Very poor for a mouse that should be able to take heavy and long gaming sessions in its stride.Read more ›

Great mouse, but sometimes when my computer boots it doesn't work and I have to plug it in again. Standard Razer, great design but has technical issues. I'll keep it though.Published 8 days ago by Martin
I love this mouse! Only one thing piss me off from time to time, it just disconnects and I have to replug. (Never happened during gaming sessions so not a big deal for me. Read morePublished 18 days ago by Plamen Nikolov
It worked for awhile but like normal razer products, it started to break. The mouse stopped tracking for 6 seconds every once and while and the buttons on the side feel tacky.Published 26 days ago by Amazon Customer
The sensor stopped working after 3 days, so I thought it could not be the mouse pad forcing my to buy a new one. But no it was the mouse wasting even more of my money. Read morePublished 27 days ago by M Litten
Always buy Razer and you can't go wrong with a Naga. Chroma lighting a bit of a gimmick sure, but actually it's quite nice to have the settings flexibility. Read morePublished 28 days ago by Amazon Customer
