The all-round worry-free package for parents-to-be: the ergobaby bundle of joy combines a comfortable and ergonomic carrier from the 360 collection with the appropriate ergobaby infant insert. this way, you can carry your baby in an ergonomically correct position from birth onwards. the infant insert is made of 100% premium cotton and is ideally suited to baby’s spine thanks to its flexible shape. it ensures proper support and thus an ideal carry position. the cushioned head and neck support can be attached to the carrier using buttons. the pillow can be used on its own for older babies who have sufficient head control. in addition to comfort through ergonomics and a wonderful design, the ergobaby 360 collection offers an additional fourth front outward carry position. it allows you to carry the baby in four different positions: on the front, on the back and on the hip, as well as on the front facing outwards for short periods. the structured bucket seat ensures that the baby sits in the ergonomic frog-leg position in all four carrying positions: with the legs perfectly tucked up and the spine gently curved. the ergobaby carrier design maintains the baby’s natural position and encourages healthy development of the spine and hips. the carriers are certified and recommended by the international hip dysplasia institute (ihdi) and the federal association of German back schools, and were awarded the aktion gesunder rücken e.v. (campaign for healthier backs) seal of approval. a flexible back panel with head and neck support and integrated hood offers uv50+ sun protection. this supports the child’s head, and the hood also acts as a privacy screen for sleeping and breastfeeding. the adjustable velcro waistband measures 66 – 132 cm and can be positioned higher or lower on the waist to ensure maximum comfort. this also provides support to the lower back area. the ergobaby 360 collection is made of durable premium cotton and is machine washable at 30 °c.

Before ergo, We tried every hand held position on earth and he definitely does not settle on his own.
Theo is the baby that refuses to sleep in the car, the pram and to white noise. Theo was labelled by the health visitor as a “difficult baby”. Theo is the baby that has a serious case of MF FOMO. However!! Stick him in this carrier and BANG, it’s lights out and peace and quiet for everyone. PRAISE THE LORD! I can not believe how good this carrier is!
At 10weeks and 12lbs, the last thing you want to do is cradle your little fatty to sleep because your permanent T-Rex arms are aching like no man business.
Ergobaby is a little tricky to get the hang of but as with anything, practice makes perfect and now I cannot live without it. YOUTUBE the crap out of it to perfect the wear! It’s worth it!!!
I predominately wear this indoors, about 7 times a day before Theo’s naps. It’s comfortable AND I get shizz done! Once he’s transitioned into his deep sleep (20mins), it’s also very easy to transfer him to his cot without disturbing him at all which is a GOD SEND. I don’t even believe in God so that’s saying something.
All hail ERGOBABY XXX
My only complaint is that the belt ties with a huge Velcro piece and it's very noisy to undo when the baby has fallen asleep and you're trying to be quiet getting him out!
The only problem I had when baby was smaller was if going for a long walk or leaning over a lot, the baby would sink down so I'd have to pick him up inside the sling and readjust him.
The sling didn't overheat even on hot days.
Now my baby is 6 weeks old the sling really feels like it's coming into its own. The insert for younger babies works but I just feel better with it now he's older. I can't wait to use this when he's older. My husband confidently uses it too. Long term I reckon it'll be worth the money.
I used it with the newborn insert which was great, no problems! Comfortable to wear and baby would sleep in it for ages. My issues came when he got bigger. He was past the age/weight to remove the insert but I couldn’t figure out how to make it comfortable for him. There were a few times where I had to remove him from the carrier and carry him home as he was getting so upset. Turns out the backs of his legs were being rubbed by the rough material.
I just couldn’t work it out, it was too fiddly to adjust. I will try again when he is a little older and I’m going to try back carrying, but ye, can’t believe I went back to my old baby bjorn after such an expense!
1) to reach the buckle at the back, you need long arms. I tried many positions with the help of a sling trainer and couldn't succeed. this makes it dangerous because I couldn't take the child off of it.
2) it generally needs two people to perfect it.
at the end of the day our sling trainer said it is not good for us or the baby so we are returning it. i strongly suggest you hire it for a week before buying!
