Love everything they've done . I actually wore out my original cd so this was a replacement. Still as good as the day it was released. Pity the lads are not together anymore to make more beautiful music 🎶

For the last 25 years UB40 have given us reggae music that has made us dance and sit up and take notice of what has been going on in the world around us. I've spent the weekend listening to this album and for once there isn't a song on this album that I've umed and ahhed about. Every track on this album you can dance to. Every song tells a story of what is going on around us. The lyrics on the album are very politically charged, which is great beacuse the band seem to have truely returned to their roots and what brought them to the publics attention. Ali's voice sounds more mature and soulfull. The horn section sets the whole album alight in every tune and this gives the whole album an "old time Reggae feel". If you don't dance to tunes like 'Reasons', 'Who you fighting for?'and Sins of the father' then you truely have no rythum and you have no soul. This is an album that fans of the band will love and appreciate, it's full of up tempo reggae tunes that will brighten up your summer and put a smile on your face. The band have matured like a fine wine and as time goes on they get better and better.

I received this cd one week ago. I took it, I observed the box, I opened the cd tray of my sound system, play and... it is brilliant!! When listening the first song I wondered if the rest would be that good, and they are it, all the tracks are very good.
The album is energetic, fantastic, with Ali Campbell's distinctive voice complemented with the beautiful sound of the rest of the band. It is like a return to the way in that the group made the music.
I have listened the UB40 music from 1989. I have their albums. In my opinion Who You Fighting For? is better than anyone of their last albums, Homegrown or Cover Up for example.
The sound of the group in this work is brilliant, refreshing. The ballads in this cd are beautiful. My favorite tracks: Who you fighting for, Plenty more, Good situation, Kiss and say goodbye (a version of the Manhattan's soft soul classic) and One woman man. Even if they were only these songs on the album, it is worth the price of the cd. But the rest are also excellent. Believe me, all the songs are very good.
When my friends listened some tracks and kiss and say goodbye from the album they said: ¡La música es buena, se escucha bien! In English: ¡It's nice!
If you like of the good reggae, you must have this cd. Buy it and you won't be disappointed. you will obtain something of quality, where in these times few good things come out in what concerns to the music.
UB40 celebrates its 25 anniversary, and with a great album. Enjoy it.
Well Done!

At the age of 20 i imagine i am quite a young UB40 fan. I have every studio album they have ever written, my favourite being either labour of love or guns in the gheto. I have to say i was very dissapointed with cover up and home grown. They just didnt sound like the ub40 i love. WHO YOU FIGHTING FOR is a return to form indeed. Every track is brilliant especially the title track WHO YOU FIGHTING FOR. Other standout tracks include AFTER TONIGHT and the extra track THINGS YOU SAY YOU LOVE.
LONG LIVE UB40

IReasons you should hear this 1: they're the band that bring you fun.
Reasons you should hear this 2: they'll make you bright, if you're feeling blue
Reasons you should hear this 3: the album's great, take it from me
The Reason we will stay with you, is UB40 - we love you......
JUST LOOK AT THESE BLOKES: surely we're now talking 25/6 years!! Come on, I can remember unwrapping my Signing Off album. This is the most brilliant album they've done for a good while (even though, yes, it's difficult to chose) but sometimes it seems only those of us in the secret club know about them. Ah well, let's enjoy ourselves while we can because we've always been onto a good thing ever since "Signing Off".
I love the way that bhangra and reggae have been mixed on "Reasons" and it is so lovely to see the DVD with the cool, chilled out Indian geezers just swaying side to side reggae style like Ali does and there's that bloke with the head-dress (obviously their dad just arrived) going bonkers. I love the way it is all integrated with reggae. Bhangra sounds much better that way. Just my opinion mind (don't want a load of objectors). Reasons is a brilliant song anyway and number one on our list.
"Plenty More" is a return to one you can sing tongue-in-cheek, at G Bush and Cronies(whilst watching the "Team America" DVD. Excellent work, geezers, couldn't have done better. And so true. Again, and this goes way back to the past UB40 we knew, many a political angle on this album - love it, about time someone who has a voice said something - "Who You Fighting For?
