. switch is connected via spade clips so its easy to customize or delete depending on how you want it fitted.
. very bright
. Velcro is nice
. Molex connection has both an input and output so you don't loose a connection. good news if you own a low spec or a modular PSU and want to use as few leads as possible.
. Glue on the velcro failed a few times. I put it down to how I've got mine above my CPU in the case so heat from the CPU and graphics card over a few days made it soft and prone to failure. Simple fix was to just super glue the velcro back onto the cathode.
. The cables from the cathode are quite short so if you own a medium to large sized case (I own a Corsair C70) you will find that your limited in placement. Originally I wanted one along the top and one along the bottom that was not even close to possible with the cables fitted.
So in the pack you get the two cathodes, the inverter, power cable and switch. little Velcro sticky pads
So to install ya have to figure out ya route for the cables, may be a bit of a challenge depending on how big your case is, and where you want to put the switch. I have the cm storm sniper. Now the switch fits nicely into the watercooling holes at the top of the case, (but not the little holes) the problem is that the cables are far far to short, they could do with being atleast another 20cm longer. So once you have planned the route of the cables fix the switch in watercooling holes (if you have them)then connect the calbe from the switch to your psu molex. The little plug into the inverter, the inverter is pretty small compared to what I thought it would be. Then you need to figure out where is best to place it, as the cables from the cathodes are about 15cm long, I placed it behind a fan controller in the drive bay, cable tied it down to make sure it stayed there. Now the cathodes themselves, pretty simple there is little sticky Velcro pads, these are fine if the cathodes are going to on the bottom of the case, however, I placed one cathode on the roof of my case, the stick pads keep failing off, so the light fall down, not great. The light is pretty bright though, would be a nice edition for any windowed case.
Lights are pretty good,
Inverter is smaller than I thought it would be.
the switch is ok, fits well in the watercooling holes
The cables for the power supply are far far too short.Read more ›
If you do have a LED fan in your case like I do, take it out and replace it with a better non-led one.
Brought two of these, (8 CCFLs in total) and I had run out of space to put them when I had four in there so I gave the other pack to a friend.
If you are going to buy these and have a small case, get the 10cm version or you will run out of space to put these in or you won't be able to put these in at all.
I have a mid tower case.

Very easy to fit, & the white ones are amazingly bright for such a small, low power lamp. I had 2 blue ones in my box already, & have had to remove one of these as it's too bright.Published on 26 Sept. 2013 by Mr. DM Griffiths
It's ok for what you paid for, not very durable, the sticky thing came off after a month of installing, but it was easy to install and replace with double sides tapePublished on 14 Mar. 2013 by Bill
Look great in my new Ivybridge build I built in May this year. Currently inside a Corsair 600T White Edition Case. Probably buy the UV ones too at some point.Published on 20 Oct. 2012 by Blade Runner
