Excellent song by Ian Van Dahl; probably one of their best.
1. The radio edit (3:46) is ok, but cheesy in my opinion.
2. The extended mix (6:17) develops a bit more the progressive side of the song.
3. The Push Full Vocalised Remix (7:50) is the best of the bunch. Amazing remix by one of the trance leaders. This mix is in the vein of the excellent PUSH production "Live Another Life" under the guise of Plastic Boy. The vocals of Annemie Coenen in this remix reminds me of Sunscreem's Please Save Me.
While most of the well-known trance artists are trying to find their way, this mix shows there are still good trance out there.
This domestic release is however ridiculously weak. Only three songs while the Australian edition includes 10 mixes, the German 5 mixes plus the video. According to the current UK market rules, it would take 4 cd-singles to release all of these versions... And that is assuming the songs are not surreptitiously cut as is often the case. Fortunately, some dance labels such as Positiva and Incentive have realised they would increase profit if they stop editing all the songs. And this is good for the listener and the artist!
5 stars for the PUSH remix, 0 star for this release.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply Great 25 Nov. 2003

This single is of very high qualtiy! If you are looking for some hot new vocal trance with high energy, by all means buy this single. Ian Van Dahl is off on the right foot with this single with both great vocals and trance rolls. I can't imagine how great the whole album will be!

5.0 out of 5 stars Energize your heart, mind, body, and spirit....! 10 Jan. 2004

I actually got a hold of the Australian import CD-single,on Central Station Records which contains ten tracks, all together. If you can get a hold of the Australian version, than it is a great bargain!..The tracks included on the Australian version are:
1. Radio Edit 3:46
2. Extended 6:17
3. Push Full Vocalized Remix 7:50
4. Peter Luts Remix 7:00
5. Chantzis & Vanspauwen Remix 6:35
6. Dave McCulen Club Mix 6:29
7. Jan Vervloet Remix 5:59
8. Ian Knowles Remix 7:14
9. Push Dub Remix 7:49
10. Progressive Remix 8:07
Tracks 1 and 2 are the Radio edit, and the extended mix, which has a more club like feel with layers of synthesizer and pulsating rhythms, tracks 3 and 9 remixed by Push (aka M.I.K.E.) has a more epic, solid trance style, track 4 which is the Peter Luts Remix has a ethereal rhythm, with layered synthesize beats, alternating, track 5 has a retro-electro synth-pop style, track 6 which is the Dave McCullen Mix is more inclined towards progressive house, track 7 which is the Jan Vervloet Remix has a more uplifting, melodic trance feel...Tracks 8 and 10, which are the Ian Knowles Remix and the Progressive Remix are more inclined towards the darker, deep, and hard trance style...Although, all of the remixes are absolutely great, my favorites are the Extended, the Push Remix, Peter Luts Remix, and the Jan Vervloet Remix. If you can get a hold of the "Disco Brothers Remix", that is also has a very euphoric uplifting feel, however it is currently only available on the UK import vinyl release on NU Life Recordings...

5.0 out of 5 stars I Can't Let You Go 22 Mar. 2004

Another hit single from the king of vocal trance, Ian van Dahl. It has the simplicity of Reason, and there is true emotion in lead singer Annemie Coenen's voice. The lyrics lack the slick style of Ivd, but they still impress. This song gets better with every additional play, and the single makes a coveted addition to any trance collection.

Another amazing piece from Belgium's Ian Van Dahl. With beautiful vocals and a wonderful melody, this is another smash hit along with "Castles in the Sky", "Will I?", "Secret Love", "Reason" and "Try". Trust me, you can't let this pass by! Get this single quickly before supplies run out!
