All in all, it's a superb album and a worthy Grammy winner. Classy, cool and sincere, Bennett remains at the top of his game.

1 This album, produced by Phil Ramone, won the Grammy Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album. On it, Bennett became a songwriter for the first time in his long career, by penning the lyrics for the song "All for You".
2 This album nimbly revolves around themes of love. Rich orchestral arrangements by Johnny Mandel, Musiker, and others augment Bennett's quartet. Made up of mostly dreamy ballads and light, mid-tempo pieces, this album focuses on stellar standards and other lesser-known tunes that speak of love's rapture and its loss. The charmingly sentimental songs "I Remember You" and "Don't Like Goodbyes" are poignant works that reinforce Bennett's ability (at age 78) to really get inside of a lyric and make it his own. Each heartrending piece on this record sees Bennett crooning over lush, legato strings, gentle piano musings, and whispery brushwork (except "Being Alive”). A wonderful romantic album!
3 The sound was wonderfully remastered by famed Bob Ludwig at his Gateway Studios. The resultant sound was simply perfect!Read more ›
Tony could easily live out of his catalogue but he continues to record music regardless of his age, and wao! this record is just a living proof of it! listen to 'Time to Smile' for a good dance! it's so damn good!
This album truly delivers great songs, great feel ... and that amazing voice that never fades away. Hats off to Mr. Bennett!
Oh one more thing go and see this man in concert... you just wouldn't believe your eyes and ears. I heard sing sing 'a capella' in the Royal Albert Hall, I had tears coming out of my eyes... I've never experience something like that.
