However, that's Thug Kitchen's schtick, so I can't really moan about it, especially as I knew what they were like! The recipes themselves are great - what I particularly love about these guys is that they are quite inventive with flavours, putting ingredients together that wouldn't have occurred to me previously. I like that it's vegan but not overtly so - it's not really a 'vegan' cookbook, but more a whole load of tasty recipes that just happen to be vegan, if you catch my drift.
I've marked it down slightly, as I didn't feel it was as good as the original - but it's still worth getting, and some of the recipes would be fab for a party. We've made quite a few, and even my sons like them (who can be fussy). Put it like this - these guys make black beans, tofu and all manner of other 'health' foods taste great.
