Although I absolutely love these books I find it irksome when silly errors are made, the maine one in this story is just what is the rank of Officer Doherty? In the book description he is described as DCI, early on in the book he is described as DI Doherty, and when he introduces himself to Ms Broadbent he introduces humsrld as DS Doherty! Please can you clarfy the correct rank of this police officer. In the first book he was a DS so I am assuming he is either a DS or DI. All the same a little consistency would be useful

Have fairly recently discovered the Honey Driver series of books and now cannot get enough of them. My heartfelt congratulations (and thanks) to Ms Goodhind for creating characters that are not perfect, totally beliveable and humourous - hurrah!! You find yourself living along with Honey, her clever daughter, nightmare Mother, policeman boyfriend and never forget the chef!! Go investigate with Honey and steve and you won't be disappointed

The 2nd book in the Honey Driver series did not disappoint. The author once again invited the reader to visit the city of Bath.
I am really enjoying the developing relationships in this series of books, especially the chemistry between Honey and the
handsome detective.

Highly recommended.

An excellent read - a murder mystery, a bit of romance thrown in told with warmth and humour. I just love Gloria! Steve's not too bad either. Can't wait to see how this tale unfolds. Will she won't she?

I am new to the Honey Driver mysteries and found them a nice easy read and not too demanding for those "brain dead" days. Likeable characters and funny plots

This story resonates with the fraudulent meat scandals from a couple of years back. An easy read reminiscent of MC Beaton's Agatha Raisin series of tales.
