There are tips in here which everyone will find beneficial, on this the book is good.
Having recently read the book again tho, it's obvious now what was missing when I first read it. There is no joy expressed for just fishing, the outdoors and the meditation of a day catching wild fish. This isn't what the book was written for but its absence does make it a cold methodical read.
Not for the angler satisfied to catch stocked Rainbow trout this book will help plenty of us to be more sucessful with wild brown trout and grayling and to enjoy it more in the process. Highly recommended. Extremely useful and practical
