I bought Snowblind after reading a portion of one of the chapters in a "Rebel Inc" sampler. The story is gripping, you want to know exactly what Swan will do next to expidite his smuggling activities and the intricate nature of his schemes don't disappoint. There are lots of characters introduced, some of whome leave the scope of the book quickly, others are there right til the end ... all are essential by their relation to each other. I love it -- the first time I read it, I got to the end, and turned right back to page 1, it was simply that good. I'd give it 6 stars, if I could.

This book is simply impossible to put down. Sabaag writes with a very sharp but dry wit that enhances the tale to perfection. Quite simply the best book I have read in years. Whatever your opinion is on drug smuggling etc, take time to read this book.

Snowblind is one of those books which is notoriously hard to get hold of, my copy has been lent to six different people, and I managed to get it back somehow, its that good. I have seen a few copies of Snowblind, and every one is worn and battered from being lent.
The story proves there is a scammer in everyone, even if you are anti-drugs, it is worth a read, simply because of the ingenuity of Swan's ideas. The descriptions of Colombian cities are almost picture perfect, I read it whilst in Colombia. This is something I wouldnt reccommend, unless you fancy a ten stretch inside.

A great read. I finished the book in under a week.

Found it very funny, great charachters and plot.

He would most definitely wont get away with that today.

Anyone fancy a trip to a certain Colombian post office?

I wish I had read it when I was up to no good 15 years ago and just maybe I would not have got caugtht.

The story seems simple; a drug smuggler on the loose doing what he does best and how he gets away with it. Snowblind writer Sabbag takes one mans adventures into the drug trade and traces the line of biography like no other. This is the only book on the crime & Cocaine business that you'll ever need to read. Faster than the rest, smarter than the best, an utterly truly fantastic read.

This was a great read. For all that I despise drugs and people who take them, there is somethng glamourous about the smuggling side of things which draws the reader in. The reader is always on the side of the smuggler and thinks of him as a hero, a bit like an Elmore Leonard novel. Fast paced writing with some great dialogue
