From the Inside Flap

One of romance's best-loved authors, Sandra Brown creates love stories whose "larger-than-life heroes and heroines make you believe all the warm, wonderful, wild things in life" ("Rendezvous). Now the "New York Times bestselling author delivers a poignant, funny, and irresistibly sensual novel about one night in the life of a man and a woman that will change their future forever.
Television producer Brin Cassidy was throwing the biggest dinner party of her life. And with everything in utter chaos, who should show up unannounced on her doorstep but her handsome estranged husband, Jon Riley.
Brin had not only worked with the popular star of "Riley in the Morning, she had fallen in love with and married him. She knew she owed Riley an explanation for why she walked out. But did he have to come on this of all nights?
Temperamental, charismatic, and devastatingly blue-eyed, Riley was a man who knew what he wanted, and he wasn't leaving until he got it. But the sensuous and strong-willed beauty he still called his wife was every bit his match.
From dusk until dawn the two will experience a second honeymoon of passion, seduction, and deep revelation that will determine if there is any future for Riley in the morning.

Far too many flashbacks not much of a storyline. Both the main characters and one or two of the minor ones, come over as extremely childish and implausible. I cannot believe a woman would leave her husband without telling him why, anymore than I can believe a man on finding out he has married a virgin, in her mid twenties at that, would get homicidal over her kissing a few boys in high school. I am left wondering if SB really wrote it, if she did, how old was she at the time of writing!

An easy book to read. It had the usual touch of passion. The character Riley was forceful and determined. His estranged wife appeared to be, unless Riley was involved when she seemed to always back down to him. I felt her reasons for being estranged from him not very believable and that is whatI feel let the storyline down. Having said that it is a book in the true tradition of Sandra brown. A must for any of her devotees!

1.0 out of 5 stars Audio Book - Too Graphic 27 April 2001
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
When I ordered this audio book I didn't even bother to look at the description of what it was about because I have bought all of Sandra Brown's audio books so I expected a good mystery. Instead it was love story - boring at that - and the audio book was very graphic. I normally give my mother all of my audio books but this was way to graphic. I felt like I was listening to a triple xxx audio book. From reading the previous reviews I now realize this book was written in 1985. I wish now I had taken the time to read the description before I bought it.
