You can use this book as either a diet book and follow the diet plan and ideas for balanced meals or just dip in and out and make a quick and easy recipe that takes your fancy. And there are plenty to choose from. There is some interesting advice at the start of the book regarding portion sizes, about eating complex carbs, lean proteins & essential fats, clever snack ideas and tips on techniques. There are some wonderfully simple recipes in this book. The only problem I have is that some of the recipes require the odd ingredient that you would rarely use apart from that recipe.

This book is outstanding if you are wanting to eat a healthy balanced diet then I would strongly recommend this book. It has some amazing recipes and the book is laid out perfectly. Definitely one on the top of my list.

Brilliant book, I love the up cycle ideas. I feel more energised and have lost weight when following the two week plan. Admittedly the shopping bill was high to start, but as I now have the ingredients in the cupboard is much cheaper than the junk food and snacks I was buying. I like the "me" time that I have when preparing the dishes and the planning of food for a week. I have continued this with my own plans. I have never bought a book and cooked so many recipes from it.

Easy to follow recipes, with use of good old fashioned words like "dollop". Really imaginative ideas and the suggestion for using leftovers in an intelligent way. Healthy eating in a sensible way as opposed to fad, and you can mix carbs and protein!

I received the book by way of a Christmas present, and I have used it regularly over the last month. All the recipes have merit and there are some great tips and food combinations, that I may have not even entertained.

The author knows her stuff and i am enjoying exploring her food voyage.
