Overall rating of the all the stories: 3/5 stars.

I bought this anthology purely because I wanted to read Jessica Sorensen's short story. And seeing as the proceeds are going to such a good cause, I thought it would be well worth the money. I hadn't previously tried any of the other authors work, so it was interesting to get a taste for some different works.

Of the 17 short stories in this anthology, I read 13 of them, DNF'd 2, didn't read 1 because of the authors warning about content (I knew I wouldn't enjoy it, so I really appricated the warning), and 1 I didn't read because it's the fifth in a series, and I've not read the previous ones, so I skipped it.

The stand out stories for me:

Ruby and Finn by Maggi Myers. Very short, a snippet for a full book coming out later in the year, titled The Legend of Ruby and Finn. I really want to read the full book and see what happens!

A Bend in the Road by Tess Oliver. I really liked the characters in this one, and the story. It felt a little rushed in the second half, but I still really enjoyed it and would have liked more.

Meeting Sin by Emily Snow. A snippet of 'Wrecking Me' Savor Us vol. 2 which releases in the summer. I really enjoyed this short, and I've already bought book 1 of this series to read, but I'm more excited to read the full story with these characters at the center.

Seduction and Temptation by Jessica Sorensen. Sins 0.5. I really enjoyed this prequel. The full book is due out in the Summer and I'm really looking forward to discovering what happens to the characters from this dark beginning.

Overall, I think this was worth buying, even if I didn't like half the stories. It's got a bit of everything.

5.0 out of 5 stars OK, Guilty, I purchased this book for 3 reasons! 9 Mar. 2014

Guilty as charged!!! I bought this book for 3 reasons: 1. proceeds to the Pink Avon Breast Cancer Team (always a good thing). 2. J. L. Berg and 3. JB McGee. I'm sure that the other authors offer some wonderful stories as well, but these two had already captured me with their previous works, and I am hooked. First J.L. Berg, and her wonderful, heartfelt Ready series. If you are a fan of When You're Ready, you know the precious story of Logan and Clare and how they came together; Clare lost her first husband Ethan to cancer; she met Logan when she took her young daughter to the ER. Just when Clare thought that she had it all, Logan found out that he has a fight on his hands. Will Clare be able to fight with him? This story takes us to their island wedding and the joy and struggles surrounding it.

JB McGee had me with her fantastic This Series: Broken, Mending and Forgiven. Gabby and Bradley meet at a wedding; Bradley, the ultimate playboy, not wanting to settle down, as no one woman could be all things to one man. Gabby has been hurt and betrayed by love, she lost her Mother to cancer, her boyfriend and best friend went behind her back, and she has a strained and literally non existent relationship with her Father. Of course, Bradley is completely taken with her, and after a long and emotional journey, we leave them in book 3 newly married and off on the honeymoon. JB gives us the first couple of chapters of the next book in the saga, Trying; we are 6 months into the honeymoon phase, to find out that everything is not sunny and romantic. We find out that Gabby has a health challenge, that could completely change the course of their future.

If you are a fan of any of the authors in this anthology, I'm sure that you are in a for a treat. I will eventually get around to reading some of the other stories, but for now, it was definitely worth the cost for these stories from two of my fav authors.

I bought this anthology for JL Berg's story and to make a worthy donation to help fight cancer...Ready to Wed was a great novella featuring my fave couple---Logan and Clare. True love, loving family, and a tropical location---perfection! I can never get enough of their fictional world. Looking forward to reading the other stories and maybe finding an author like Berg!
