This is a great little book to help your little ones understand what it means to go to preschool/ nursery. My little one loves it! I would recommend this as a good introduction as to what nursery is all about. It's very simple in its text. Good pictures as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great to prepare for preschool, my daughter's favorite 30 Sept. 2015
By Thorough Mama - Published on Amazon.com

We bought a few of this type of book before my daughter started preschool this fall, and this is her favorite. She will be 4 in a few months and this seemed to be about the right level for her to think about the different things they would do and issues that would come up. I think it would be very appropriate for a 4-year old starting 4-K as well. The book is very observational, nonjudging about why the kids in the class might do certain things, which helps open up some discussion. Ex: Melissa cries every day "I don't know why." So we talked about how some kids might cry especially the first day and why that might be. (Spoiler, Melissa also always cries at the end of the day because she doesn't want to leave) It's also general enough for her to understand that not every preschool is exactly the same. Ex: The music teacher comes and they sing Old MacDonald, "Or sometimes we sing another song."

We also bought Maisy Goes to Preschool: A Maisy First Experiences Book and I personally like them about equally, but my daughter tends to choose the My Preschool book to read more often. The Maisy book is more simple and better for the slightly younger preschooler.
5.0 out of 5 stars Prepare your little one for a fun preschool experience 1 Nov. 2015

Great book to prepare your little one to go to school. Read it to my 3 year old all summer before starting in the fall & it got him excited to go to school. Well written, pictures kind of a messy outside the lines style that appeals to that age. Great emphasis on mama coming back for them at end of day. Too bad daddy does that in our family, but still works ok. Highly recommend.

Really helped my little boy understand more about the first few days of preschool. We read it several times the week before school started and the first week of school.
