Lovely sequel to her first. My 5 year old loves to hear this read aloud but wd suit any one up to about 8 yrs old I think. Great detective story with children beating robber plot. Pity that the lead character (who also has all the best ideas) is a boy, with the girl characters submissive to all his plans (yet again, in children's media). I hoped for more from a contemporary female writer. That aside, wonderful read.

I loved reading this book with my 8 year old daughter. The characterisation is excellent and the plot is well paced and exciting. It's a humorous mystery adventure and a real page turner- just as good as the first book in the series. I hope there will be many more.
