Wonderful book. I was recommended this book by someone who said that I could've written it myself. I agree fully with Bernadette's sentiment - it's purist marketing - very personal - makes sense and focuses on authentic people to people connection. Full of case studies, punchy pace - and a real gift is a list of all the references and resources at the end. I initially bought the kindle version - (which is great for all the useful links at the end) but then also ordered the hard copy as I wanted to get pen to paper - and have made copious notes. Highly recommended as a quick 'get into the real world mindset'. Loved it.

This book goes straight to my marketing toolkit! If you are interested (1) to find out how to “compete for meaning”, not just "compete", (2) look beyond data analytics because it can’t always measure "what matters most", and (3) stop spending most of your time trying to make people love things you create, and instead simply make things people love - this book is for you too.

Good at the beginning but working through case studies go boring and can't see images on regular kindle.
