However, for those not theologically minded, it's worth noting that it's not light reading. If you're new to Theology of the Body, and especially if you're new to theology, Christopher West is an incredible author who has has written works that make Theology of the Body easier to understand - like Theology of the Body Explained: A Commentary on John Paul II's 'Gospel of the Body', which is a very large book that you can read as a companion to Theology of the Body, or Theology of the Body for Beginners: A Basic Introduction to Pope John Paul II's Sexual Revolution, which is an excellent book for people who want to find out what this amazing topic is all about.
But if you do like a challenge, it's an incredible read and well worth the density!
Also, Christopher West has done a marvellous job in making this teaching accessible. I highly recommend the introductory book, "Theology of the Body for Beginners," and his more detailed work, "Theology of the Body Explained."
I don't recommend this book.
