If you enjoyed the recent BBC2 programme, Mastercrafts, on Green Woodworking then this is the book which will guide you through the exact greenwood chairmaking methods used in the programme. It offers clear instruction on making a pole-lathe and shaving horse and how to use them. It then goes on to describe how to make your own greenwood chairs without the need for glue or complicated machinery. A must for anyone interested in discovering more about green woodworking. (And yes I am the illustrator but I still think it's a great book!)

An excellent book for those interested in greenwood crafts. It is a personal book by the author and made more interesting for this fact, some great drawings and details of how to make items in greenwood. It has pride of place in my bookshelf.
