A very clearly written book and extremely informative. I absolutely recommend it for anyone's library. This is not a how to book but more of a why book. It explains the development of the horse through the classical training system and where your horse should be before moving to the next step. Excellent book.

Do not expect this to be a training manual.
But this is a great book to understand better what to expect and how to work with a youngster. Bought it, read it, bought another copy, gave it to a guy I was always arguing about general horse training, I have been seeing some improvements in his work now;)

Old fashion horsemanship at its best, makes perfect sense of the fact that if the foundations aren't there the house will fall down.
