Product description

Review

...a thoroughly engaging, even riveting, read... This is an important and invigorating book. --Reform

...well supplied with references and quotations... Read this book, it is an absolute must... --The Goodbookstall

Given that this book is modest in price, informative, highly accessible, and tackles one of the critical issues of our day, it could easily form the focus for a reading group, composed, it is to be hoped, of young and old. --Church Times

About the Author

Ann Morisy is a community theologian and the author of the best-selling books Beyond the Good Samaritan and Journeying Out as well as Bothered and Bewildered (published June 2009). She lectures widely and leads workshops, both in the UK and abroad. She writes about issues in a way that people 'find hard to put down', and in a manner that enables them to incorporate the ideas into their practice.

Format: Paperback
This is an engaging and detailed contribution to the new debate about fairness between the generations. Unlike other commentaries on this issue Morisy suggests ways through and in doing so demonstates the importance of faith, and the Christian faith in particular. Extends the social action agenda and provides an interesting outline of '2nd chance theology' for those who have had iffy experiences of Christian thinking in the past.
