The trouble with a book like this is that is it doesn't give what it suggests on the cover. For impecunious folk using free download software to produce trinkets that they would never buy if found on a market stall, the book may have some value. For those who use high end 3D software like SolidWorks or Inventor and need 16micron or better resolution 3D prints that are going to be used as masters for resin or metal casting this book gives no useful information at all. Areas which are deficient include the requirement to increase the dimensions of a model for casting shrinkage, methods of drawing sprues so that several parts can be drawn on a printer and minimising "stepping" resulting from changing orientation.
A notable lack is explaining when using 1.75mm diameter substrate is better than using 3mm or when it is better to use PLA rather than ABS fibre.
A disappointing book for professional 3D designers.
