This is NOT the goniometer you can see in their pic. I choose this one because I didn't like the other ones with a massive brand name on them. This one looks like it doesn't have it but it DOES! Annoying!
Apart from that, it is a fair size goniometer, much better for big joints like knees or hips. I have been using it for 2 weeks and the arms are still tight. Quick delivery. No issues apart from the missleading picture!

5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what I wanted and needed 24 Jun. 2016

I had recent knee replacement surgery and noticed the therapists were using this thing called a "goniometer," kind of like a big protractor, to measure how far I could bend my knee. Out of curiosity I decided to get my own. Works great and it gives me a way to measure my progress on the recovery and rehab. Glad I got it because the other knee is going to be rebuilt in a couple of months or so. Add in the earlier open-heart multiple bypass and I'm as close to the bionic man as you're likely to find.
2.0 out of 5 stars Thinner plastic with less durability 20 Sept. 2014

I was really happy originally to get such an affordable goniometer (for personal use) which looked just like the ones in our clinic and worked well. I had purchased my own years earlier for more than double the price and it lasted for years until I left it in a patient's room and it disappeared. Unfortunately, the plastic on this new one was thinner and it quickly broke (the arm snapped in 2), while in my PT bag, although I can't recall any specific event that should have broken it. (I carried my original goniometer in the bag for years.) I wouldn't buy this again as it was not durable enough for regular use.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Recovery Tracking Tool 27 July 2016

This Goniometer is a very good quality product. My physical therapist was impressed that it was better than the one he had. I had knee surgery and need to keep track of my knee's flexibility. It is durable, easy to read and has just enough tension on the holding grommet to move around and keep the position for reading up close when I am on my own.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect at home reference tool. 3 Oct. 2013

Since knee replacement surgery, I continue to do at-home exercises to keep flexibility in my knee. Measurements were taken with a goniometer while I was at physical therapy and I was curious if I was maintaining the degree of flex they measured. This item allows me to get an idea of how that is going. While I'm sure it is not a totally accurate measurement (it is difficult to measure your own knee), it does give me a pretty good reference point. And the price is right!!

5.0 out of 5 stars I like to make sure thay my flex in both knees ... 7 Feb. 2015

I purchased this because I have had both Rt.& Lt. Total Knee Replacements and both Total Knee Revisions. I like to make sure thay my flex in both knees don't loose any flex. This is the right tool for that check. Order came in perfect condition and very fast service. Thanks much.
