McGuigan Black Label Shiraz 2011 is a full, rich and fruity red with the spicy hints associated with the grape variety. It has no hardness and well-balanced tannins which result in a wine full of ripe fruit and spice.

Tried at a Christmas function with 'Lamb Tagine' as the feature dish (in more ways than one), this Shiraz is particularly well balanced ~ smooth with more than a sweet hint so went down well with those more reluctant to try a 'red'.
Best served at room temperature, to me, red & black berries and plum present with creamy vanilla and just a touch of spiciness on the fade, without being bitter.
Went equally well with the tasty vegetarian casserole, and a creamy cheese board to wind up.
