The tin is excellent - it has a quality feel about it with a good thickness. Obviously you dont want the cake tins too thin or the outside will cook even faster than the inside and you'll get some pretty domed cakes. This doesn't eliminate the doming completely but you should compensate by having a dip in the middle of your cake mixture before putting into the oven (Rachel Allen tip).
The reason I've given this five is that I ended up receiving a circulon tin (same size) which leaked when making a runnier than usual recipe. That particular tin had a design flaw where you could see the joint in the cake tin itself. This tin didn't leak with the same runny recipe.
Have knocked a star off this one because, due to the way the metal is folded, it retains dishwater. I had just placed the dough in the tin last time when I noticed soapy bubbles leaking into the tin from one of the folds. It was over 24 hours since the tin had been washed and - I thought - dried.
I know to be more careful next time and hope this helps someone. It is still a lovely thing to bake with though!
