What is Nutri Fill-It? Nutri Fill-It is a re-useable food pouch designed to carry homemade smoothies, yoghurts and just about all pureed food. A fabulous accessory for your NutriBullet. Rather than buy shop brought snacks (which are often laden with sugar and additives) make you own and use our re-usable pouches to store (in the fridge or freezer) and transport them quickly and easily. How is it different from other re-usable pouches? Most of the re-usable pouches on the market hold approx 100mls of liquid. Great for babies but not so hot for older children and grown ups! Nutri Fill-It holds 300mls. The perfect amount for a lunch time treat, a post work-out boost or an after school snack. How does it work? Its easy, just follow our 3 simple steps.... 1. Blend It - buy your healthy, fresh ingredients and make a batch of delicious, nutritious, smoothies / yoghurts etc (in a NutriBullet or other Blender) 2. Fill It - pour your smoothies directly into your Nutri Fill-It pouches, seal the bottom with the 'anti-leak' Double Zip Lock and store in the fridge or freezer. Grab a pouch and go (an added bonus is your pouch acts as an ice pack keeping other lunch / snack items cool)! 3. Reuse It - after you have enjoyed your nutritious treat simply rinse out your pouch or place it in the dishwasher (top shelf open over 2 prongs) ready for the next use. Due to its curved shape it is also easy to clean by hand under running water with a bottle brush Nutri Fill-It can be re-used up to 100 times. Is it BPA Free? Nutri Fill-It Reusable Pouches are BPA Free, Pthalate Free, PVC Free and Lead Free. Is It Environmentally Friendly? By cutting down on your shop bought smoothies and snacks (which come plastic wrapped and are binned after each use) you will be helping the environment every time you use Nutri Fill-It. When your pouch eventually reaches the end of its life (usually after about 100 uses) you can re-cycle it in your re-cycle bin. If you own a NutriBullet you NEED Nutri Fill-Its!

They hold a little over the 300ml stated, depending upon how you hold them to fill them. If you are just filling them to take out, and use the same day, they can be filled as full as possible. Each pouch has a 300ml marker line, but I think this is to allow for expansion if freezing, so the liquid doesn’t expand so much that it splits the pouch, or forces it to open.
I love their bright colours, and the fact that there are three of them - handy for families where there are 3 children on a picnic each wanting her own pouch – but I would have liked to see six different colours rather than two each of three colours (say purple, orange, and yellow too?). The plastic body feels quite substantial but, realistically, I don’t know how long each one might last. It’s likely that, with time, they will become brittle. They are also handy for storing and freezing a batch of home-made soup, and it’s useful from a hygiene point of view, that the bottoms open up as this enables thorough cleaning of thick fluids.

The smoothie pouches arrived in a plastic see through bag which you tear open. Upon unpacking you will find that there are: 2 x Pink pouches, 2 x Blue pouches & 2 x Green pouches. When I first saw them I was surprised that they were so big, but upon using them you will see they don’t store that much (the equivalent of a coke can) liquid.
The feel of the pouches are of a hard plastic material, it feels strong and durable to touch. The cap is plastic which you simply twist to open and close. There are no additional stoppers in the top to prevent leaks (not that I was too concerned).
The pouches have a maximum fill line on them, which I guess is to prevent pressure (which could cause the bottom to burst open), so make sure you respect it.
On the back of the pouches there are logos saying you can freeze them and that they are dishwasher safe (although I couldn’t test this as I don’t have a dishwasher).
You may be wondering how you fill them up, well it’s quite simple. At the bottom there’s two slide able zip locks which you close using your fingers. I’ve enclosed a picture of this to better illustrate it.
The main selling point of these is the capacity which is a healthy 300ml. They are great for storing lots of liquid and taking with you on cycle rides. You can reuse them for up to 100 uses, after which it’s recommended to recycle them.
As for its durability of it, if I get enough “YES” helpful votes I will update this review to tell you how it’s done after a few months. If you vote “NO” please tell me in the comments why you did not like my review so I can improve them in the future.Read more ›
So far so good, just fill it up with my smoothies for the week and im good to take them to work, defrosts by lunch, i will have to get another set as hubby likes it too and thinks it will help him in his healthy eating.
I am not sure why these are marketed as just smoothie pouches, because they are handy for almost any kind of liquid and can be used simply with water as hydration bottles.
At only £2 for each pouch, they are good value – especially because they can hold both hot and cold liquids, and are freezer and dishwasher safe.
They are made of food grade material, free of BPA, PVC, Pthalate, and Lead and each pouch can hold 300ml of liquid.
There are two green, two pink, and two blue pouches in the pack, and the difference is useful, because you cannot see the contents inside the pouch, so you can use different colours for different liquids and remember the contents easily
Each pouch has a nice, easy to use mouthpiece to drink through, and a good screw on cap, with a final click-lock action to seal the mouthpiece.
It’s a nice touch too, to find that two extra caps are provided in case you accidentally lose one (or two).
Unexpectedly, you do not fill the pouches via the mouthpiece (it would be a little narrow anyway). The base of each pouch has a wide zip-lock type opening and closing.
This is a slight mixed blessing, because whilst it does mean that they are very easy to fill, and wash, you need to be careful to ensure that pouches are properly sealed after filling, and careful not to subject them to too much pressure afterwards – otherwise the seal could burst open.
Especially during summer, I freeze all my drinks overnight, so that they gradually melt during the day, and give me a nice cold drink all day. Obviously this means that you cannot drink the whole contents at once, but ‘little and often’ suits me well.Read more ›
