I needed a relatively small camera case that would protect a Canon SX260HS. This is small enough to fit in a medium size jacket pocket and protective enough that I am not concerned about the camera if bunged in a rucksack.
I reckon it would happily take a camera at least 10% larger, but that leaves lots of room for odds and sods.
The option of velcro or zip compartments seems sensible when hung from the sturdy belt loop, as I am always concerned about pickpockets stealing from a velcro compartment and this gives me options (OK I reckon a good pickpocket would get it from the zip but it would seem slightly more difficult).
My only criticism is that the velcro itself isn't the best join in the world. It works but it wouldn't take a lot to knock it open.
