Large: 6.5"–7.7" 16.5 cm–19.6 cm
X-Large: 7.7"–8.9" 19.6 cm–22.6 cm (only available direct from Fitbit usually)

Grab a tape measure or piece of string and a ruler and get an idea of your wrist size. I'm on the small end of small and have 7 holes worth of overlap which would probably be nicer not to have, so I'd say err on the small side if it'll give you a little flexibility.
He can always get different straps for the charge 2 if needed too. see less

Answer:
Yes it does. The time is set in the account settings in the app on your mobile. Once it's set, it can be turned on and off on the Fitbit itself. I use it to wake up in the morning. The silent buzzer works well!
